Seal Analytical AQ 400

The AQ400 from Seal Analytical is a discrete spectrophotometric analyzer, automating traditional colorimetric methods. The AQ400 provides methods for Alkalinity, Ammonia, Chloride, Cyanides, Nitrate/Nitrite, Nitrite, Phenolics, o-Phosphate, Total Phosphorous, Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen, Silicate, Sulfate, and more. Software allows for these colorimetric methods to be programmed in with allowances for method development.

LGR Liquid Water Isotope Analyzer

The Liquid Water Isotope Analyzer made by Los Gatos Research (LGR) can analyze Delta 18O and Delta 2H liquid water isotope ratios. One mL sample volumes are needed to use the auto sampler. The isotope analyzer with model IWA-45EP is featured as an instrument for measurements of both isotopic liquid water and water vapor.

Agilent GCMS

The Agilent GCMS system is equipped with 7820 GC and 5977B MSD quadrupole mass spectrometer. A High Efficiency Source (HES) and InertPlus Extractor EI Source maximize the number of ions that are created and transferred out of the source body and into the quadrupole analyzer.

Agilent 6120 LCMS

Agilent 6120 LCMS is equipped with a quadrupole mass spectrometer on Agilent 1260 Infinity II standard HPLC system. Isotopic resolution at 10,000 u/sec confirms compound identity in fast chromatography with accurate isotopic ratios. Additional detectors provide versatility by combining DAD, ELSA, and MS for extra confidence in compound purity assessment. The 1260 Infinity II instrumentation combines with the latest column technologies and advanced supplies to guarantee robust separation and detection performance. Easy column handling and superior sample logistics, from sample submission to data analysis, ensure fast turnaround times and highest instrument utilization.

Perkin Elmer NexION 350X ICPMS

The Perkin Elmer NexION 350X is an ICPMS capable of running in both standard and collision cell mode for the reduction of polyatomic interferences common with elements such as iron. In addition, this instrument is capable of doing single particle analysis for detection of metal based nanomaterials. A wide range of elements can be analyzed on this instrument.

Lambda 365 UV/Vis spectrophotometer

The Lambda 365 is a compact dual path UV/Vis spectrophotometer with a wavelength range of 190nm to 1100nm and 0.5 to 20nm tune-able bandwidth. The dual path allows for exceptional stability. Currently set up for 1cm x 1cm cuvettes, a wide range of sample holders is available from Perkin Elmer.

Biolin Q-Sense QCMD

Biolin Scientific’s Q-Sense is a Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation Monitoring. This allows real time monitoring of surface interactions with nanogram precision for a variety of samples and experimental set ups. Q-Sense is capable of making measurements of frequency and dissipation at the fundamental frequency (4.95 MHz) as well as the 3rd through the 13th overtones. A wide variety of pre-coated sensor types are available from Biolin Scientific allowing the user to select an ideal substrate for their experimental set up. This real time surface sensitive technique can be used to monitor thin films and surface interactions such as adsorption, desorption, molecular interactions, and structural properties. It is equipped with the Electrochemistry Module and a Gamry 600 Potientiostat allowing the users to investigate the electrochemical properties of these surface interactions as well.

Shimadzu TOC

Shimadzu Total organic carbon analyzer is equipped with Total Nitrogen Measure Unit and ASI-L auto sampler. An ultra-wide measurement range and patented 680 C Combustion Catalytic Oxidation/NDIR detection method make the analyzers the ideal solution for experimental research applications.
